Industrial and service groups (excluding companies from the financial and consulting sector) qualify for membership if they have their headquarters in Switzerland and if they hold significant participations outside Switzerland

In particular, the following criteria are applied:

• Global headquarters or domicile of the top management in Switzerland or in Liechtenstein;
   
• Foreign controlled companies with their domicile in Switzerland or Liechtenstein (Regional Headquarters);
    
• The corporate group in Switzerland or Liechtenstein needs to control various corporate affiliates abroad;
   
• Important position of the foreign affiliate companies in the whole corporate group;
   
• Main business activity in the industry, trade, transport or service sector.
