SwissHoldings’ member companies are leading global suppliers of goods and services. As such they depend as well on the domestic as on the international level on competition regulation that provides legal certainty and respects the rule of law. Operating out of the comparatively small country Switzerland, our members are particularly dependent on an unrestricted access to foreign markets.
 

Our objectives and positions

SwissHoldings’ members depend on  competition rules that are enforced in strict compliance with the rule of law.

  • The reform project presently discussed needs to lead to a reinforcement of the due process guarantees under Swiss competition law.
     
  • Individual sanctions for the infringement of competition law: They need to be materially justified and may not be in conflict with the legitimate requirements of companies.
