Capital Market Law

"Maintaining a sufficiently flexible Company and Capital Market Law
in the interest of an attractive location for companies
"

SwissHoldings stands for an internationally competitive location in particular with respect to the legal framework

SwissHoldings’ member companies are exposed to international competition. In order to prevail they require optimal conditions at their home base out of which they can develop their activities. Of utmost importance in this respect is a company law that meets the needs of the issuers. SwissHoldings advocates a company law sufficiently flexible to enable companies to adequately respond to market needs.

Our objectives and positions

SwissHoldings advocates a company law sufficiently flexible to enable companies to adequately respond to market needs.

  • Refusal of the “Minder-Initiative“, as it would considerably encumber the liberal spirit and the flexibility of the present company law and would lead to detrimental provisions for companies and unduly restrict shareholders in exercising their rights.

  • Request for a counter-proposal that gives voters the opportunity to avoid the negative effects on business that the adoption of the “Minder-Initiative“ would have.
